What the dietary marks mean

No curry we make uses MSG. If an allergy is serious for you, please ring us on (02) 4943 6219 before you order.

The V mark is for vegan dishes only, so plenty of vegetarian ones sit outside it. Palak Paneer and Aloo Matar Paneer are two of them.

We last checked these prices against our ordering page on 5 August 2026, and they do move from time to time. Where the two disagree, the ordering page is the one to go by. Some things run out during the day, sweets most of all. Our hours and how to find us are on the home page.

Questions about our Indian menu in Charlestown

What does a curry cost?

Chicken, lamb, beef, goat and fish curries are $10.90 small, $16.90 medium and $18.90 large. Vegetable curries are $9.90, $13.90 and $15.90. Rice is ordered separately from $4.50, and naan starts at $3.50.

Can I eat gluten free here?

Every curry on this page carries the GF mark, Butter Chicken, Chicken Korma, Lamb Rogan Josh, Palak Paneer and Goat Curry among them, and none of them are cooked with MSG. Breads are the exception, because naan, roti and paratha are made with wheat flour and are not gluten free. Tap the gluten free filter at the top to see the list on its own.

What is there for vegans?

Two curries are vegan, White Cholay and Eggplant and Potato, and the Vegan Combo from $8.90 lets you have both in the one order. To start there is the Vegetable Pakora Box, Eggplant Pakora and Spicy Potato, all marked V. The Vegan filter pulls them together.

Can I order Indian sweets for a party?

Yes. Most sweets go by the piece from $1.50, by 500g from $14 or by the kilo from $26, and the Mixed Box is $16.50 for 500g and $30 for a kilo. Sweets do sell out, so ring us on (02) 4943 6219 if you need a big order on a set day.

What are your opening hours?

We are open 7:00am to 9:30pm, seven days, for eating in, ordering at the counter and the drive-through, which is the only Indian one in Australia. The full curry menu runs the whole time with no break in the afternoon, and cafe snacks start at 7:00am.

Eat in, take away, or let us cater

There is seating inside if you would rather sit down with your curry. Order at the counter to take away, order online and pick it up when it suits you, or use the drive-through at 317B Pacific Hwy without leaving the car. We are open 7:00am to 9:30pm every day, and we cater parties as well.
